I believe that being outside and experiencing the healing power of nature can make it easier to think about what’s going on inside, too. That’s why I offer walk and talk counselling in Chorley and in the Bamber Bridge area at a pace to suit you, in a place that feels right.

If our sessions cannot be held outdoors due to adverse weather conditions or daylight restrictions, I also offer a confidential virtual space to help you explore your issues.

Where do I Work?
I offer walk and talk counselling in Chorley and in Bamber Bridge. Both locations have a range of footpaths and routes. I can adapt these routes to suit your needs, allowing for wheelchair accessibility and the need for sitting breaks, or a more robust ramble if you’re feeling a little more adventurous. Each session lasts an hour, but I offer a free
no-obligation telephone consultation beforehand where you can ask any questions and see if the type of therapy I offer works for you.

Astley Park Home to Astley Hall, one of the Northwest’s most historic houses, this popular Chorley park occupies over 40 hectares and offers a diverse selection of paths and routes. Whether you want to take a leisurely walk around the walled garden or a shaded stroll through the scenic woods, there’s a route for everyone, and ample seated areas too.

Suitability: The park offers benches and seating at regular intervals if you’ve prefer not to stay on your feet while having counselling in Chorley, so I can tailor your route to take that into account. There are also a number of wheelchair-accessible routes available. There’s also a range of woodland routes which are ideal if you prefer to stay moving and like to explore.

Cuerden Valley Park:
Following the River Lostock on its meandering journey and spread over 650 acres, this picturesque park in Bamber Bridge offers a choice of woodland walks and the chance to see a wealth of wildlife. There are a number of car parks and entrances throughout the park, making it conveniently accessible when thinking about counselling in Chorley, Bamber bridge, and also counselling in Preston or Leyland.

Suitability: The park’s extensive pathways make it ideal for the more confident walker, though shorter strolls are an option round the Pinetum and Walled Orchard during walk and talk counselling sessions.
